Yeah. It's me CikSengal. I'm now an anchovy and I go English!
Eyyy, don't laugh ahh... But I’m trying my best here. It's not easy though, having all this while writing blog entries in Malay. A broken Malay if I need to mention. And now writing in English? Psshhh.. But, please stick around and bear with me. Gitu.. :P
What I want to do here basically is to translate some of the entries on CikSengal's style of travelling from my Malay blog (Aku Yang Sengal) into English. Hope it works, because there are entries that can be funny in Malay, but when you translated it to English, it doesn't make any sense at all. I can be super funny in Malay, but to be funny in English, there are lots of things that I have to work on.
The entries to be translated here will be in a form of "one topic per entry", not the day-by-day itinerary entries as written in Aku Yang Sengal. The topics can either be places of interests, transportation, tips and tricks, hostels and guesthouses, places to eat, or anything else that falls under the travel category.
Why am I doing this? I have people visiting Aku Yang Sengal from all over the world. And I just want to share my travel experience in a universal language that can be understood by everyone which is of course, English (hopefully everybody can understand!). Other than that, I am actually into studying on how user-generated contents especially travel blogs can help travelers in making decisions. In order to see the patterns, I need to be one of the user that generate the contents. Having a content in Malay is limited. Not much data can be captured, since not many people can understand Malay language.
That’s it! I hope I am diligent enough to write entries here (am so lazy to update Aku Yang Sengal), so please support me and see you soon!
